Go to Hell

bonfire-3135332
Don't be offended. There is a Hell, Michigan.

It's an unlikely place for a vacation destination, it's not a 'wow' destination.

If you get a chance to pass through the three building town–post office, restaurant, and gift shop. You can pick up a souvenir and get bragging rights to tell everyone that you've been through Hell. Maybe, even tell them to go to Hell.
I stopped there on a road trip with my son. We switched places and I let him drive into the town. He liked the idea of being able to say that he drove his father to Hell.

Other than the bragging rights, it still  is a quaint little town to visit. We had a bite to eat at the Hell Saloon. If that isn't quite your taste with the row of motorcycles parked outside, a couple of steps to the left and you can get a burger or pizza at the Hell Hole Diner.

Souvenirs declaring your visit can be found at Screams, a gift shop devoted solely to devilish merchandise.

The 'town' itself is designed for tourists to takes selfies and plan events to impress their friends. They even have a chapel for weddings to take place in Hell.

So, for a little humorous stop in The Wolverine State. Stop in Hell.

And, YES...it does freeze over, so if you've got any promises owed you, take a photo of the frozen conditions and cash in.
