Jennifer Schell is a writer & columnist, former editor of BC Food & Wine Trails Magazine and internationally award winning author of three cookbooks titled: The Butcher, The Baker, The Wine & Cheese Maker. James, a retired college lecturer finds time in abundance to pursue his travel writing passion. Given that finally the never-ending planning, implementation and assessment of lesson delivery has become a distant memory, opportunity is available to seek out what has always been a highly-valued interest, travel journalism. Combining academic ability with the exploration of travel and associated experiences, travel writing makes sense at this juncture in life. Returning from trips abroad and sharing the adventures with family and friends is a natural spontaneous action, not dissimilar to writing travel blogs, thus enhancing experiences for readers and tourist establishments alike.

I'm an award winning freelance travel and yacht writer with published pieces in English language magazines, newspapers, and websites internationally. My own photos usually accompany my articles as well. I have a knack for meeting people on the road and getting under the skin of a destination. My stories and love of wildlife conservation and the ocean have resulted in requests for podcast interviews on these topics. Additionally, having written for yachting and spa publications, I also understand the luxury market. Formerly resident in Canada and Bermuda, I now call the UK home. I can give expert advice on Bermuda, Western Canada and the UK - especially the southern part. I've developed a habit of living indoors and eating regularly which leaves me wide open to commissions.
