Sometimes it’s the hidden gems that bring Linda the most joy.

She has her own website, Foodwinetravel.com. She has also written for Palm Springs Preferred Small Hotels. In addition, you can find some of her articles on the FWT.com magazine (Food Wine Travel Magazine of IFWTWA) and Big Blend Magazine.
Gail Gauvreau is a journalist, published author and monthly travel blogger. Based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Gail Gauvreau travels the world and specializes in humorous travel stories. Her next book will focus on the funny side of cruising and the joys of shore excursions.
Every April school vacation Robin would pack her two sons into the car and off they would go to visit some state in the US. They traveled from Boston to Florida, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, Ohio, New York, Vermont, Maine, and Canada. Each trip also included a history lesson of sorts.
Once the boys left home, she started traveling outside the US to places like Spain, Israel, Ireland, and Cuba. Everywhere she went Robin created memories and captured them with her camera. Sometimes her trips in the US were by sailboat.
Robin is no stranger to long distance drives and prefers driving off the beaten path even though it means an extra hour or two in travel time. Her biggest adventure was visiting, interviewing, and photographing 300+ marinas in both the US and abroad.
